Sergeant Major Rodney Little, U.S. Army (RET) is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native with over 33 years of both military and executive leadership exercised internationally and nationally in civilian and military command positions. His expertise is in business development, operations, risk management, contract negotiations and arbitration, public safety, human capital, business continuity operations, project and program management and economic development.
He is a regional leader in Veterans affairs and issues in the Tri-State area (Delaware/Pennsylvania/New Jersey). He is also the former President of Philadelphia’s powerful Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 106.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he enlisted in the United States Army in 1977. He has served in both the active and reserve forces of the United States Army and held every leadership position from Team Leader to Sergeant Major. He has transferred his skills acquired during his military career to become a highly regarded strategist, advocate and regional leader for both Veterans and active-duty military members.
Rodney currently serves as the Treasurer Common Cause Of PA, (Feb 2019 - Present) The Veteran Multi-Service Board Member, (July 2015- Present), AHARI-A Home Is A Right Board Chairman, (June 2020- Present), Community Forgiveness and Restoration Board Member, (January 2019-Present) and on the Fair Housing Rights Center, Board Member, (January 2021-Present). In addition, he previously served as US Senator Pat Toomey’s Military Academy Selection Panel Member, (September 2013 – December 2022), and former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs, (May 2012-Jan 2014).
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Wilmington University, In addition, he has a certification in Equal Opportunity Course, Antiterrorism Training Course (Level II), Housing Quality Standards Inspector Training, US Drill Instructor Course, Bureau Narcotics Investigations and Drug Control, Domestic Terrorism: Implications for HC Providers, Instructors Training and Small Group Instruction, Radio Teletype Morse Code Operator Course, U.S. Army.
