LaShannon D. Grant currently serves as the volunteer MBA Hall of Fame Committee Chairwoman and overseas the collection of nomination packets that are provided to the MBA Hall of Fame Committee Service Reps.
In her professional role, CMSgt Grant is the Command Materiel Management Lead, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. She oversees command supply chain policy to support eight wings, 208 B-1, B-2, B-52, UH-1N, E-4B, NC3 aircraft, 450 MMIII ICBMs and 45 missile alert facilities. She advises MAJCOM leadership on Materiel Management enlisted matters and supply chain stockage strategies for $2 billion dollars in assets. CMSgt Grant is responsible for the management of $650 million dollars in Readiness Spares Packages postured to support U.S. Strategic Command and overseas contingency requirements. She maintains oversight and develops the training while shaping career development for 560 enlisted members, providing input and validating supply related manpower standards, as well as upholds accountability of AFGSC equipment worth $1.4 billion dollars. CMSgt Grant grew up in Kingston, Louisiana and entered the Air Force in January 1996. Throughout her career, she has held unique positions in logistics, Contracting, and Civil Engineering. Her background includes various assignments in the Materiel Management career field in Washington State, Panama, Florida, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Qatar, Italy, Turkey, Arizona and Louisiana. She has served on multiple deployments in support of the Air Force, Army and NATO operations at bases in Iraq, Qatar, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia.
Chief Grant was inducted into the MBA Hall of Fame in 2020.
